For years, the four of us have been thrifting and one of our favorite places is The Cotton Mill in Selma, North Carolina. We love the hunt—the old things, the unexpected treasures, the history behind a piece, and that little thrill when you find something you absolutely cannot leave behind.
And somewhere along the way, all that thrifting turned into an idea.
Why don't we do this ourselves?
So…we did.
We are thrilled to announce that Rooted Sisters NC, now has our very own thrift booth at The Cotton Mill!
And honestly? We couldn't think of a more perfect place to do it.
Four Women. Four Different Stories. One Very Fun Booth.
The four of us each bring something different to the table. Between us, we have experience with interior design, artistry, decorating, buying, collecting, and simply knowing when something has that special something.
We've each spent decades collecting things along the way—some from different parts of the United States, some from overseas, and some simply because we fell in love with them. Now we're opening those collections up and letting someone else love them.
You'll find vintage pieces, home décor, quirky treasures, things with history, things that make you smile, and probably a few things that make you say:
“Oh my gosh…I remember these!” That's part of the fun. We're not trying to create a perfectly curated showroom where everything matches. We're creating a place where you can wander, discover, remember, laugh, and find something you didn't know you needed.
And There's a Little More to It Than Thrifting
Because this is BringTheeXtra, we couldn't just have a booth where we sell stuff.
We had to BringtheeXtra. That's kind of our thing.
We're going to be giving away free Bibles because our faith is at the center of everything we do.
